The Terminal Brewhouse - The Terminal Brewhouse
Chattanooga Tennessee has such a unique, historic downtown area and it is the 4th largest city in the state.
It has so much history to offer and has really turned this industrial river town into something worth seeing and spending time in.
Chattanooga has received national recognition for the renaissance of its downtown and the revamping of their riverfront areas.
With the redevelopment of their historic downtown, Chattanooga Tennessee has increased their tourism and nightlife over the last few years.
With their outstanding accommodations, eclectic shops, unique dining and a variety of world class attractions, its no wonder more people are spending time visiting Chattanooga Tennessee.
But what about the nightlife in Chattanooga Tennessee?
I have you covered, it was hard, narrowing it down but I have come up with three of the "Best Bars" in downtown Chattanooga Tennessee.
One of best parts about the beautiful historic Downtown area of Chattanooga Tennessee, is you are within walking distance or a short cab ride to all three of these bars.
The views are spectacular as well as the architecture of the buildings located in downtown Chattanooga Tennessee. It is really worth the time to visit if you get a chance to see historic downtown Chattanooga.
Terminal Brewhouse In Downtown Chattanooga Tennessee
The Terminal Station (Choo Choo) opened in December of 1909
and created
an immediate need for a nearby hotel to give comfort to the weary
travelers. This hotel came to be The Terminal Hotel and after a long
life was later sold in 2006 and transformed into what is now known as
the "Terminal Brewhouse."
TheTerminal BrewHouse is a locally owned & operated business. Being locally owned gives them incentive to go the extra mile and expense to use as many local services and products as possible, as well as using as many green practices & initiatives also.
That being said, the Terminal Brewhouse is a microbrewery, making their own unique selection of beer. They also have a great menu offering unique & fresh food with some of the finest ingredients available.
There are three winding stories that all seems so completely open with a chic urban design that gives it a great atmosphere. Two of my favorites are the sweet potato fries and the Bison burger! But there are plenty of great choices to go along with their incredible choices of brews.
The Terminal Brewhouse is not only a hangout for locals but also a great place to kick back and relax if you are visiting historic downtown Chattanooga Tennessee.
Hours of Operation:

Hair of the Dog Pub In Chattanooga Tennessee
Now that you are downtown Chattanooga, you have to stroll over to the corner of Fourth and Market Street to step into one of Chattanooga's favorite local restaurants, Hair of the Dog Pub .
You might think you have entered an English neighborhood pub but not to worry, you are still in the great state of Tennessee. This is a very strategic location as it puts you in walking distance to the Tennessee Aquarium, Tennessee River and many of Chattanooga's fine hotels.
The Hair of the Dog Pub was created with the people of Chattanooga in mind, hoping to give them a local watering hole (if you will) with all the charm of a neighborhood pub. And I have to say they succeeded! Even if you aren't a local, you feel right at home any time of the day, or any day of the week.
Their atmosphere is great with a warm charming feeling created with the use of darker woods and wrought iron decor. There are two levels with the second level constantly a buzz with dart boards, pool tables and a jukebox to set the mood. A great place to eat, drink and be merry!
They are open from 11:00 am until 3:00 am giving you ample time to squeeze in a visit. But I promise when you get there, you may not want to leave!
The owners of the Pub were just as creative with their menu descriptions. They offer really good sandwiches and dinner platters, but with original, unique names. It's a great place to meet friends, hang out have a few beers, grab a bite to eat and just have fun! Located right in the heart of downtown Chattanooga Tennessee, The Hair of the Dog Pub is clearly one of the best bars in town!
I just couldn't pass up including a copy of their sandwich menu, hope you find one you like!

Great photos and my kinds of places!! I love bars because they have such 'character' and even in a nice restaurant sometimes I like sitting in the bar where it's more relaxed and folks are 'happy'. Cool hub!
